Permanent Christmas Lights in Eau Claire, WI — Kit Prices Shown, Installer Named

The kit price, the installer's name, and the warranty word for word — before you hand anyone your phone number.

I'm Devan. I hung Christmas lights for a living before I ever sold a product, and the part nobody warns you about is the takedown. Putting them up in November is the fun half. Coming back in January — when a normal Eau Claire high is 23.4°F and nearly every night freezes — to pull them off cold fascia on a ladder is the half that makes people quit. So this page shows you the kit price, names the installer, and quotes the warranty exactly.

The short answers

Who installs it in Eau Claire?
Wagner Pro-Clean Xteriors LLC — Justin, based in Neillsville, WI. More about Justin.
What does it cost?
The kit is public: 100 ft $1,299, 150 ft $1,762.50, 200 ft $2,399, 300 ft $3,499 (live from my store, November 2, 2026). Labor is quoted by the installer after measuring — why I don't quote it.
Can I just buy it and do it myself?
Yes. Nothing to apply for, no approval to wait on, and the kits are built to go up. Plenty of buyers do it for a living, but plenty don't. In Eau Claire I'd point you to Justin first. 100 ft kit.
What's the warranty?
Quoted word for word below — the 30-Day Perfect Peak Guarantee, the 5-Year Product Warranty, and the First-order money-back on your first 100 ft kit.

What the whole job runs

The kit above is the material part of the job. The rest is labor, ladders, insurance, the time to measure and lay out your roofline, and somebody standing behind the work once it's on your house. Justin sets that number after seeing your roof, and I don't publish a range for it — his pricing is his to quote, not mine to guess at.

What the installer adds, and why I don't quote it

Labor. Justin measures your roofline, picks the pitch and color, mounts the track, and stands behind the work on your roof. That price depends on your house — stories, gables, access, how many peaks — and he sets it, not me. Any installed price I printed here would be a guess dressed up as a fact, so you get the half I control and the name of the person who quotes the rest.

Who installs it here

Nobody paid to be on this page. Justin Wagner owns Wagner Pro-Clean Xteriors LLC, an exterior cleaning company whose website gives a Neillsville address. He's here because he bought the track, not because he bought a spot. His website lists house washing, roof, gutter and window cleaning; lighting isn't listed on it yet, so ask him how many roofline installs he has done and whether there's one you can drive past. The service-area quote in his card below is from his own site, and it's for pressure washing.

Why the peak looks right — and how it goes on an Eau Claire roofline

Most systems start at the gutter and work up, so spacing errors pile up at the peak — the one spot everyone looks at from the street. The TrueCenter Apex Track is a one-piece, pitch-matched peak that goes on first, so the lights center on your ridge and the run works outward symmetrically. It's patent-pending, it ships in your track color, and it goes up in under 5 minutes instead of 25-plus minutes of cutting on a ladder.

  1. Measure and quote. Justin measures the roofline, matches the track color to your fascia and soffit, and quotes labor on top of the kit price above.
  2. Peak first. The Apex Track matched to your pitch — 4/12, 6/12, 9/12 or 12/12 — is fastened at the ridge with its center node dead on the apex. Under 5 minutes.
  3. Track outward. 1-meter sections of 6063-T6 aluminum are screwed to the fascia both directions from the peak. Strands plug together with factory-terminated waterproof connectors — no cutting, no splicing on the roof.
  4. One box, one power connection. The 600 W supply and 4-zone controller share one enclosure. The app goes on your phone and the schedule gets set for Eau Claire, not a factory default.

30-Day Perfect Peak Guarantee — From our product pages: “If any Apex peak doesn't sit true and symmetrical out of the box, we replace it free and cover the shipping — no hassle.”

What you control from your phone

One controller, four independent zones, an app on your phone. Christmas is Christmas, and the rest of the year the house reads as plain warm white, or off.

  • Colors. RGBW nodes — red, green, blue and a true 2800K warm white — so Christmas is Christmas and the rest of the year the house reads as plain warm white, or off.
  • Zones. Four independent outputs with their own node counts and animations; the front can run a scene while the back stays white.
  • Schedules and scenes. Timers, presets and saved scenes over WiFi or Bluetooth. Tap once for Thanksgiving, once more for game day.
  • Brightness. Dimmable. I don't publish a brightness rating; ask Justin whether there's a lit house you can see.

Set the on-time for Eau Claire's own sunset, because it comes early here in December:

Eau Claire's sun sets at 4:26 p.m. on December 1, 2026 and 4:28 p.m. on December 21; civil twilight ends at 4:59 and 5:02 p.m. Source: U.S. Naval Observatory, Sun and Moon data for one day (Eau Claire coordinates 44.8113, -91.4985), fetched November 2, 2026.

Built for Eau Claire weather

This is not a decorative problem. Eau Claire's winter is the reason a permanently mounted track beats clips you handle twice a year.

Eau Claire has 33,563 housing units, 50.7% of them single-family detached; 49.5% of occupied homes are owner-occupied, and the median home was built in 1980 (ACS 2024 1-year). Source: U.S. Census Bureau ACS 2024 1-year (tables B25001, B25003, B25024, B25035) via Census Reporter API (geo 16000US5522300), fetched November 2, 2026.

What that means for the hardware

  • Water: every LED node is encapsulated in UV-stabilized polyurethane, which flexes through freeze-thaw instead of cracking like epoxy, and every connector is factory-terminated and waterproof — zero field splices, so there is no gel-filled joint to fail in a wet December.
  • Power: the whole run is low-voltage 24 V DC from one 600 W supply with multi-layer surge protection built in.
  • Wind: the 6063-T6 aluminum track is screwed to the fascia, not clipped or glued, and the wire is 18 AWG UV-resistant three-conductor — heavier than the 20 AWG most systems ship.
  • Sun: The track is up through Eau Claire's summer too; the UV-stabilized encapsulation and the powder-coated track are there for July as much as for December.

What it looks like in daylight

You see the track, not the lights. It sits under the roofline in 1-meter powder-coated sections and comes in four colors so it matches the fascia or soffit instead of announcing itself.

The four IronPeak aluminum track colors side by side — matte black, white, oyster white and brown — the only part of the system visible in daylight.
  • Matte Black — dark trim.
  • White — white fascia and vinyl soffit.
  • Oyster White — cream and off-white trim.
  • Brown — brown fascia, cedar and darker brick.

Justin picks the color against your trim at the quote. Availability varies by color and pitch, so decide early.

When Eau Claire expects the lights on

The season here has a hard edge on both ends. Frost alone doesn't stop an install, but ice and snow on the roof edge do.

Eau Claire's normal December is a 28.7°F high and 12.6°F low, and January is 23.4°F/5.8°F (1991-2020 normals at Eau Claire Regional Airport). Source: NOAA NCEI 1991-2020 U.S. Climate Normals (station USW00014991, EAU CLAIRE RGNL AP, WI US), fetched November 2, 2026.

So the honest booking advice here is early autumn. Once the run of freezing nights sets in, an install can end up waiting for a break in the weather. If autumn has already passed, put the dates you want in the form anyway, and Justin will tell you what he has when he gets in touch.

What to hand your HOA

I can't tell you what your HOA or condo association allows, and nobody else online can either. If you live under covenants, read them before you order — that document governs, not me, and some associations want an exterior change approved first.

If you do need approval, get the request in before the install date, not after. What to attach:

  • The track color you're using, against a photo of your trim (the four colors are above).
  • One sentence that the fixture is a low-profile aluminum track mounted under the roofline, with no exposed bulbs or wire.
  • Your schedule: what hours it runs, and that outside the holidays it's warm white or off.

What it adds to your power bill

Two competitors print a monthly dollar figure with no source. Here is the arithmetic so you can check mine.

kWh per month = nodes × 0.96 W ÷ 1000 × hours per night × nights. 0.96 W is the maximum draw per node from my spec sheet; a node is one puck, spaced one per foot.

Example: a 100 ft kit carries 100 nodes. 100 × 0.96 W = 96 W. Six hours a night for a month: 0.096 kW × 180 h = 17.28 kWh. At Wisconsin's August 2026 average residential price of 19.41 cents a kilowatt hour that is about $3.35 a month — at full white, every node, every night. Colors and dimming draw less; your actual tariff and riders may differ.

The one maintenance task

Nothing comes down in January and nothing goes in the attic. The one job left is a rinse when the season's grime washes off — from the ground, with a hose.

Start with the front, add the rest later

The controller has four independent zones. I'd start with zones 1 and 2 on the front roofline and add the gables, sides or the second story on zones 3 and 4 later — even a year later — with a 25 ft add-on ($299) or a 50 ft add-on ($499). Same power supply, same controller, nothing re-mapped. The add-on is the same track and the same nodes at the same spacing, so the join is invisible.

The warranty, word for word

From our product pages:

30-Day Perfect Peak Guarantee — “If any Apex peak doesn't sit true and symmetrical out of the box, we replace it free and cover the shipping — no hassle.”

5-Year Product Warranty — “The components — LED strands, controller, and power supply — are covered against product defects for 5 years from purchase. (Normal weather wear-and-tear isn't a defect and isn't covered.)”

First-order money-back — “Your first 100 ft kit is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee — return the material and your refund comes back as cash.”

The refund structure — what comes back as cash and what comes back as store credit — is on the returns and guarantee page, in full, rather than paraphrased here. Labor on your roof is Wagner Pro-Clean Xteriors LLC's to stand behind; the product is mine.

Eau Claire-area towns

Justin hasn't published a lighting area. These towns are all on the 'near me' page of his site, for pressure washing, so they're his words, not mine — ordered by distance from Eau Claire. Neillsville, where his site puts his address, is about 48 miles east.

From Eau Claire, in straight-line miles: Altoona 3.2, Chippewa Falls 10.1, Fall Creek 11.3, Cadott 19.5, Bloomer 20.1, Augusta 20.6, Osseo 21.1, Menomonie 21.5 and Neillsville 47.6. Every town listed is on the 'near me' page of Justin's site, for pressure washing, ordered by straight-line distance from Eau Claire. He hasn't published a lighting area, and the page says so. Towns outside this list still route to Justin through me when the ZIP is in central and western Wisconsin; he confirms coverage on the call.

Questions Eau Claire homeowners ask

How much do permanent Christmas lights cost in Eau Claire?

The material is public: a 100 ft IronPeak kit is $1,299, 150 ft $1,762.50, 200 ft $2,399 and 300 ft $3,499, read from my store when this page was built. Labor is Justin's to quote after he measures your roofline. I don't print an installed price, because any figure from me would be a guess.

Who installs IronPeak permanent lights in Eau Claire?

Wagner Pro-Clean Xteriors LLC, owned by Justin Wagner, is the IronPeak installer I list for Eau Claire. His site gives a Neillsville address and names Eau Claire among the towns he serves for pressure washing. Send the form on this page and it comes to me first; I pass it to Justin myself. I don't sell your details or put you on a mailing list.

Will it survive an Eau Claire winter?

That's the real question here. A normal Eau Claire year brings 55.4 inches of snow and 27.5 nights at or below zero, and very nearly every December and January night freezes. The track is 6063-T6 aluminum screwed to the fascia and every connector is factory-terminated and waterproof, so nothing needs handling in that cold once it is up.

Can I buy the kit and install it myself?

Yes. Nothing to apply for and no approval to wait on — the kits are built to go up, and the install guide comes in the box. Plenty of people do their own. If you'd rather have it done, Justin is the installer I list here, and he quotes the labor.

How long is the wait, and how many people are ahead of me?

There is no queue on my side. With Wagner Pro-Clean Xteriors LLC live, Eau Claire requests come to me and I pass them to Justin myself, not onto a list. The wait is his to quote, not mine. If your ZIP is outside central and western Wisconsin you join a waiting list for your area instead.

Will I see the track in the daytime?

You see a slim aluminum line along the fascia, in the color you pick — Matte Black, White, Oyster White or Brown. Matched to the fascia board it reads as trim. The diodes sit inside the channel, so you do not see bulbs or cord in daylight.

What does it add to my power bill?

Each node draws at most 0.96 W. A 100 ft kit carries 100 nodes, so about 96 W at full white; six hours a night for a month is 17.3 kWh. At Wisconsin's August 2026 average residential price of 19.41 cents a kilowatt hour that is roughly $3.35 a month. Colors and dimming draw less.

Can I light the front now and add the sides later?

Yes. Add-on runs are $299 for 25 ft and $499 for 50 ft, without a power supply, because they run off the one you already have. The controller has four independent zones, so you can do the front first and extend down a side the following year.
